1 Cup Maize Meal
- Fill 1/2 a small pot with cold water.
- Add 1 cup of Maize Meal to make a paste. We use Iwisa.
- Place on the hob at high heat.
- Stir until mixture starts to thicken to your desired consistency.
- If it’s too thick, add boiling water. Make sure the water is boiled.
- Leave to simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Serve in a bowl and add your honey, salt, lemon and lemon zest.
